PROVIDING YOU WITH NEWS THAT YOU MAY NOT RECEIVE OTHERWISE
My Dear Fellow Americans,
I have been working on a couple of projects that kept me from producing the NewsLinks. I appreciate your inquiries as it shows me that you keep up with the information that we try to provide you here. I am back and ready. It's amazing how much went down on less than two weeks.
Thanks to Clemson City Councilwoman Margaret Thompson's pressure on State Senator Larry Martin, the state Department of Transportation is supposed to start screening contractors who hire illegal aliens. We all see them along South Carolina interstate working on the roadsides and in the median. Yet, no one does anything about it. It took a murder of one of the employees who was an illegal alien by another illegal also employed by Dixie Lawn Service Company out of Gastonia SC. The killer was a member of the deadly gang MS-13, known to have many members in most of the states. According to an employee of Dixie Lawn Service Company, they have contracts with 70 counties in North and South Carolina. And THEY HIRE ILLEGALS!
Folks, anytime you see illegals working on South Carolina roads, you need to call the Governor's office in South Carolina. They have some oversight over the Department of Transportation. Then do what Councilwoman Thompson did: call your state senator and tell him to make them stop. Don't take any back talk from your elected officials. If they tell you that our law will not go into effect until January, tell them that there is a federal law that has been in effect since 1986! Stop the excuses and get rid of illegal aliens in South Carolina!
As I have always told you, we need to remain vigilant. Once the state law goes into effect, there will be a toll-free number that one can use in South Carolina to report criminal employers who hire criminal invaders! But we will have to wait until 2009 for that to take place.
We need to start calling ICE repeatedly as we notice illegals working. It's the only way that we will get them out of South Carolina. Those of you in North Carolina need to start focusing on recruiting patriots to run against incumbents who will not represent "we the people." Here in SC we had some success thanks to the minutemen, and other organizations and particularly one of the best talk-radio station in the USA, WORD-FM 106.3.
Please use talk radio as a way to keep the heat on elected officials. Use the internet. Write letters to the editor. E-mail and call your friends. Don't forget that county sheriff's run the counties. They are the highest law enforcement officers in each county. They can get things done, if they so chose. It's up to you to hold their feet to the fire! Get everyone you know involved before we lose our nation. The illegals are leaving, but not fast enough. You can help expedite their departure.
Sincerely,
Roan Garcia-Quintana

"No legislative act contrary to the Constitution can be valid. To deny this would be to affirm that the deputy (agent) is greater than his principal; that the servant is above the master; that the representatives of the people are superior to the people; that men, acting by virtue of powers may do not only what their powers do not authorize, but what they forbid. It is not to be supposed that the Constitution could intend to enable the representatives of the people to substitute their will to that of their constituents. A Constitution is, in fact, and must be regarded by judges as fundamental law. If there should happen to be a irreconcilable variance between the two, the Constitution is to be preferred to the statute."

Beaufort County SC: Audits show lots of illegals getting jobs using fake IDs, counterfeit documents There's a lot of evidence that illegal immigrants are using counterfeit documents and stolen IDs to get jobs in the area, according to the Beaufort County administrator. Gary Kubic said Monday that the county has conducted hundreds of audits of businesses and their hiring practices over the last several months and he's surprised by the amount of phony documents employees have submitted to those businesses.
Beaufort County SC Sheriff: Employees' potentially fake documents will be investigated Beaufort County Sheriff P.J. Tanner said his investigators will pursue reports of widespread use of fraudulent documents by workers in the county, a discovery that county-hired business auditors told the County Council about last week.

Illegals figure drops by 11%The Department of Homeland Security is claiming success after an independent study released Wednesday argued that stepped-up enforcement efforts have reduced the illegal immigrant population by 11 percent since August. The report, by the Center for Immigration Studies, a group that calls for more enforcement and immigration restrictions, says the "likely illegal immigrant population" of lesser-educated Hispanics ages 18 to 40 dropped significantly from August through May. The center argues that this decline corresponds with stepped-up enforcement efforts after the failure of a "comprehensive immigration reform" bill in June 2007.
